Guild Wars 2, Beta Opinions

Today marked the end of my playtime in the Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend event, the game met my expectations.
Combat is fairly dynamic, fast-paced and entertaining, it does not feel like a chore of just standing there, whacking at stuff, it is action-packed, you have to use evasive maneuvers and movement in order to survive against enemies in Player vs. Environment (PvE), in PvP this is noticeably important as well, and yet somehow it does not feel like a chore; teamwork flows naturally in the game among its players.
The world feels alive indeed, random events, groups of enemies assaulting settlements, several original quests ensure this, and the most curious thing of all is how the players seem to hop into the fray as soon as an event marker appears on their screen. dropping whatever they were doing.
The classes (called professions in the game) are fairly varied, and there are several cross-profession combos (for example, shooting ground frozen by an Elementalist in order to grant any nearby allies Ice Armor), and no class is really overpowered against another, it all narrows down to the player's ability and skill / perk choices.
The story is fairly compelling and entertaining, there are some cliche scenes far and between, however it tends to be fairly interesting to follow with, especially your character's personal story quests.

Overall, I am overjoyed with the game, and cannot wait for the next Beta Weekend (which is in a month) to happen already, I am looking forward to the official release, it is a MMO that has brought several new ideas on the table, some of them rather risky, and has succeeded at implementing them, doing away with several old formulas (such as the Holy Trinity (Healer, Tank, DPS) or the rather famous and dreaded Gear Treadmill), and slow-paced, boring combat.

RUHAHAHAHA. Play Diablo! I have never really Played Guild wars... But it looks kinda lame. W.o.w or Diablo is the way to go.
